Conducted over four days, it is well established as a key annual forum. Where and when will the 2010 National Congress & Business Expo be held?
At the newly opened, world class Adelaide Convention Centre, with its spectacular waterfront locations from 16-19 May 2010. It is designed to provide our corporate partners and exhibitors with ample networking opportunity and a high level of exposure to the key decision makers within the local government sector.
Who will attend?
Over 500 delegates from the local government sector in Australia and abroad are expected to attend. Of this, 75 per cent hold senior management positions (ie. Chief Executive Officers, General Managers, senior to middle management) and approx. 25 per cent are elected representatives (Mayors and Councillors) – the key decision makers from their municipalities.

Local government spends approx. $18 billion per year and is one of Australia’s most diverse institutions with

Interaction Opportunities for Sponsors, Exhibitors and Delegates
Over the four days, your representatives will have ample opportunity to engage with delegates:
- Welcome reception – Sunday 16 May 2010 at 6pm, Expo Hall F & G. This is the first official event of the Congress & Business Expo where sponsors and exhibitors can showcase products/services to the decision makers.
- Pre dinner drinks and congress gala dinner – Monday 17 May 2010 evening. Sponsors and exhibitors will each host a table of delegates, providing an opportunity to network in an informal environment with no competition.
- Social Evening – Tuesday 18 May 2010 evening. A charity night at the Allan Scott Park, Morphetville Racecourse.
- Tea/Coffee on Arrival – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in Expo Hall.
- Morning and Afternoon Tea – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in Expo Hall.
- Luncheons – Monday and Tuesday in Expo Hall.
